The assessment takes place during an appointment in Krasnoyarsk, while reviewing the results, interpreting your tests and building your program can be done online.

How it works

How a pulse turns into numbers

The method rests on three pillars: the theory of functional systems, thousands of years of pulse diagnosis, and modern algorithms for heart rhythm analysis.

🧩

Functional systems

According to the theory of functional systems (P. K. Anokhin, Dr. habil. med.), the activity of all organs and systems is reflected in the heart rhythm. The heart is a permanent part of every functional system, so the rhythm can tell us about the state of the body as a whole.

🖐

Classical pulse diagnosis

For thousands of years, pulse diagnosis practitioners have learned empirically to read the state of organs through the pulse. That accumulated experience is the second pillar of the method: Veda-Pulse does not replace it but makes it measurable and reproducible.

💓

The heart knows everything

Pacemaker cells located in the heart receive information from the functional systems and generate an electrical discharge that makes the heart eject blood. This very process modulates the heart rhythm and the shape of the pulse wave in line with deviations in the functional systems.

📈

How Veda-Pulse works

By recording the biopotentials generated in the heart, the system reads the rhythms of organs and functional systems, meridians, regulatory systems and other parameters — on the basis of heart rate variability (HRV) analysis. This data is then turned into clear graphs and indices.

The steps of the method follow the section “VedaPulse: How it works?” on the manufacturer's official website. Veda-Pulse is an expert system for assessing functional state; its readings are not a medical diagnosis.
What the method can do

What the assessment shows

Veda-Pulse brings together the achievements of modern physiology and the knowledge of traditional medicine: TCM, Ayurveda and Tibetan medicine. This is not a diagnosis but an objective picture of how your body's systems are working right now, and a clear starting point for a wellness program.

Modules and readings

  • Academic module: heart rate variability readings — the basis for an objective assessment.
  • Health indices: energy level, systemic inflammation threshold, body toxicity, immune status, autonomic dysfunction, stress tension, rate of aging.
  • Bioenergetics: the balance of energy centers (chakras), their connection with psychosomatic reactions, and the body's recovery potential.
  • Organ pulses · Meridians: the state of functional systems and organs, the energy of the 12 Chinese meridians, the balance of the primary elements, and an automatic description of the current syndrome.
  • Personalized recommendations: the program is selected according to your constitution (dosha), the state of the channels and the biorhythmological activity of the points.

What the method is based on

The device works on heart rate variability (HRV) analysis and Professor P. K. Anokhin's theory of functional systems. The HRV method is officially recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the European Society of Cardiology and the North American Society of Electrophysiology.

The principles of pulse diagnosis are inherited from the school of the seven levels of pulse of Dr. Vasant Lad and from canonical sources such as “Nadi Vijnana”. The algorithms were validated in a clinical study together with the largest Ayurvedic university in India (Kerala) — Amrita University.

Today Veda-Pulse is used by more than 5,000 Ayurveda, TCM and naturopathy practitioners in 60 countries around the world.

I want to see the whole picture

When you have complaints but your tests are “normal”, and it is unclear where to start.

I am on a course and want to see progress

You can compare your state before and after a course of herbs and lifestyle changes.

I am just starting my path to health

The assessment sets a starting point and suggests priorities for the program.

Important: Veda-Pulse is an expert system for assessing functional state. It is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace laboratory and instrumental examinations. The results are used as a guide for building an individual wellness program. The demonstration readings on the Veda-Pulse assessment page are given as an example of the interface, not as the result of a real assessment.
How it works

How the assessment goes

Four steps: from the conversation to clear recommendations. The assessment is completely non-invasive — there are no injections, no radiation and no physical load.

Conversation and your concern

We collect your symptoms, complaints, and life and illness history, and clarify your health concern.

Recording the pulse wave

The sensor records the signal for 5–10 minutes. It is all non-invasive and painless.

Automatic analysis

The program builds graphs, indices and models: health indices, meridians, doshas, chakras.

Review and recommendations

I explain the results in plain language and build your personal wellness program. You can compare your state before and after the course.

Preparation and what you will get

  • Rest for 10–15 minutes before the assessment
  • For 1–2 hours beforehand it is best not to drink coffee or strong tea, and not to smoke
  • Do not come straight after a heavy meal or a workout
  • Take your watch and bracelet off your arm

Recording the signal takes 5–10 minutes; together with reviewing the results, about 20–30 minutes. At the end you receive a functional state map with indices and graphs, an explanation of the results in plain language, and personal recommendations: nutrition, daily routine, herbal blends and naturopathic remedies for your constitution.

The assessment is non-invasive: a sensor is placed on your arm and reads the pulse wave. There are no injections, no radiation and no physical load — the procedure is comparable to an ordinary pulse recording.

Questions

Frequently asked questions about the assessment

Is this a medical diagnosis?+

No. Veda-Pulse assesses the functional state of the body: energy level, tension in the systems, and the balance of meridians and doshas. A doctor makes a diagnosis based on the results of examinations, while the device's data helps you understand where your body needs support and where to start the program.

How accurate is it, and what is it based on?+

It is based on heart rate variability analysis, recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the European Society of Cardiology and the North American Society of Electrophysiology, plus the canonical principles of pulse diagnosis. The algorithms were validated together with Amrita University (Kerala, India).

Does it hurt? Are there any contraindications?+

The assessment is completely non-invasive: a sensor is placed on your arm and reads the pulse wave. There are no injections, no radiation and no physical load — the procedure is comparable to an ordinary pulse recording.

How long does it take, and how should I prepare?+

Recording the signal takes 5–10 minutes; together with reviewing the results, about 20–30 minutes. Before the assessment, rest for 10–15 minutes; for 1–2 hours beforehand it is best not to drink coffee or strong tea, not to smoke, and not to come straight after a heavy meal or a workout.
