Is this a medical diagnosis?+
No. Veda-Pulse assesses the functional state of the body: energy level, tension in the systems, and the balance of meridians and doshas. A doctor makes a diagnosis based on the results of examinations, while the device's data helps you understand where your body needs support and where to start the program.
How accurate is it, and what is it based on?+
It is based on heart rate variability analysis, recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the European Society of Cardiology and the North American Society of Electrophysiology, plus the canonical principles of pulse diagnosis. The algorithms were validated together with Amrita University (Kerala, India).
Does it hurt? Are there any contraindications?+
The assessment is completely non-invasive: a sensor is placed on your arm and reads the pulse wave. There are no injections, no radiation and no physical load — the procedure is comparable to an ordinary pulse recording.
How long does it take, and how should I prepare?+
Recording the signal takes 5–10 minutes; together with reviewing the results, about 20–30 minutes. Before the assessment, rest for 10–15 minutes; for 1–2 hours beforehand it is best not to drink coffee or strong tea, not to smoke, and not to come straight after a heavy meal or a workout.
Can the assessment be done online?+
The measurement itself takes place during an appointment in Krasnoyarsk — it needs a sensor and calm surroundings. Reviewing the results, interpreting your tests and building your program can be done online, as a consultation with follow-up support.
What will I get at the end?+
A functional state map with indices and graphs, an explanation of the results in plain language, and personal recommendations: nutrition, daily routine, herbal blends and naturopathic remedies for your constitution. With a repeat assessment you can see the before/after dynamics of the course.
