In the classical approach, Helicobacter is often seen as an absolute enemy. But as a naturopath, Ayurvedic specialist and medical herbalist, I look at it differently: Helicobacter pylori is an ancient symbiont. It does not create disease out of nowhere; it arrives on "prepared soil".
Does everyone have it?
Around 50% of people in the world are carriers (in some regions, up to 80%). But the key fact that reassures my patients is this: carriage ≠ disease. About 85% of people with this bacterium never encounter gastritis or an ulcer.
Why? Because it is opportunistic flora: it behaves like a peaceful neighbor while the body is in balance. The attack begins when the protective mucus layer of the stomach thins, local immunity falls and the microflora is disturbed, while the body is under chronic stress.
Our task in naturopathy is not to "burn out" the bacterium at any cost, but to restore the natural defenses, making the internal environment unfavorable for the pathogen.
Why this is a "family problem"
Yes, Helicobacter is transmitted through everyday contact. But in families we exchange not only bacteria, but also eating habits and emotional background. Treating one person while they live in the same environment is tilting at windmills.
Psychosomatics: the stomach as the center of "digesting" life
In Ayurveda the stomach is directly connected to the ability to "digest" life's circumstances. Suppressed anger and a sense of injustice strike the energies of "fire" (Pitta), causing inflammation. Chronic anxiety and over-control (a Vata imbalance) cause spasm and disrupt the production of protective mucus.
How we work
Instead of aggressive regimens that worsen dysbiosis, we use the strategy of "Displacement, Healing, Restoration". We gently support the body with natural herbal complexes, relieve inflammation, restore the integrity of the mucosa and normalize the digestive fire (Agni). The therapy is selected strictly individually, taking the constitutional type into account.
Assessment: seeing the invisible with Veda-Pulse
At an appointment I use the Veda-Pulse diagnostic complex — a technology that translates the ancient art of pulse diagnostics into the precise language of numbers and graphs. The device makes it possible to assess the functional state of the digestive system in real time, to identify hidden deficiencies, the level of stress and autonomic imbalance.
Health begins with understanding the causes, not with fighting the consequences.
