Liver support with herbs: recipes to start today

The liver and herbal tea: gentle support instead of harsh protocols.

Various medicinal plants are used to improve liver health. You need to start at the first, barely noticeable signals of malaise.

A preventive infusion from seeds

Prevention is best done with anise, cumin and fennel seeds. Any of these seeds should be crushed well; pour 1.5 cups (350 ml) of boiling water over ½ tsp of the prepared material, add ½ tsp of chopped mint leaves, let it steep for 40 minutes, and then drink it all warm in small sips. Taking this infusion regularly will let the liver take the hits much more easily.

What else supports the liver

  • It is very good to drink a decoction of rosehip fruit in monthly courses several times a year.
  • Immortelle copes excellently with all liver problems, even serious ones.
  • With inflammatory liver problems, chicory works excellently.
  • Milk thistle has long been used in folk medicine for liver problems.
  • For gallbladder problems: pour 1 liter of boiling water over 0.5 kg of unpeeled oat grains, strain after 40 minutes and drink ½ cup 3 times a day.
  • Boil sliced, peeled beet until it thickens to a syrup and drink ¼ cup 3 times a day before meals.

Folk medicine has a great many recipes for preventing digestive system problems — you can choose according to your taste and possibilities; the wish is what matters. And if you want to understand things more deeply, come for a consultation: we will look into your "second brain" and the immune system, which also lives in the digestive tract.
